- Be in Problem Recognition Mode – Set a goal to be an Invention Inventor (write it down and post it)
Take time to slow down and recognize problems you encounter throughout your day. These are hot spots for inventions and ideas for new products. Most of us just push on through a problem verses stopping to recognize that it is a problem or more likely that there is a better way to do “X.” For example, in my shower is a bar of soap that between uses seems to become a soggy block. I picked that soggy bar up for years. Then one day I said to myself “that’s a Problem.” Once you identify a problem your mind consciously and subconsciously starts to solve the Problem.
“But instinct is something which transcends knowledge.” “Most persons are so absorbed in the contemplation of the outside world that they are wholly oblivious to what is passing on within themselves.” “As I review the events of my past life I realize how subtle are the influences that shape our destinies.”- Nikola Tesla
